Deep earthy vibe. Strong with excellent longevity.

I love the hotel inspired oils from Manhattan Beach! This particular scent, Silk Road, to me smells like an upscale reading room with rich wood trims, leather chairs you can sink down into, and elegant tapestries. The bergamont and cedarwood stand out to me especially, along with a deeper mahogany scent. All noses are different, of course, but I do think most will find this to be a pleasing warm and earthy scent. Manhattan Beach oils always work beautifully in my diffusers and provide wonderful scents that I have enjoyed "travelling" with. The throw is nice and the scent lingers quite long after the diffuser is turned off. This particular scent needed only about 20 minutes in my diffuser set on medium 5 minute intervals before the room was fully engulfed. Excellent value as this will last a very long time for me.

Another stunning scent from Manhattan Beach

This review is for the Manhattan Beach, Silk Road, Hotel Diffuser Oil. I use this in my waterless diffuser, and it has an amazing, exotic scent to it that is very relaxing but fresh. I definitely smell the cedarwood, the smoothness of rose, and clean scent of bergamot. It reminds me a bit of the incense I smelled as a kid in the 70s, but not as overpowering, and has much more depth with such a beautiful blend of scents. I’m sensitive to certain smells, but I absolutely love this essential oil for my home. This is my fourth scent from Manhattan Beach, and they are both fantastic. I’m anxious to try all of their scents.

Silky & Sophisticated

I’m loving the hotel inspired scents from Manhattan Beach, and this one is no exception. I’m using it in a waterless diffuser and the standard bottle screws in perfectly. It just takes some effort — or needle-nose pliers — to get the plastic plug out so my diffuser’s tube can go into the bottle. The aroma is like a swanky reading room with old books and leather seats and wood floors. Subtle citrus and floral notes keep it from getting too heavy. After a week of regular use the bottle still looks almost full, so it’s a good value that will last a long time in a waterless diffuser.
