Beach vibes without synthetic smells or overpowering coconut. More like high end beach resort!

First thing's first: This oil is great any time of year, but boy was it a *great* move to order it just as it started getting cold. Instant mood lifter!!! Key West absolutely screams summer, but in a breezy, grown-up way... not like a mai tai slathered in tanning oil (thankfully). It’s fresh & airy right out of the diffuser, ocean-breeze vibe. Then, it settles into something softly warm and inviting instead of sugary or heavy (think reserved cabana at a high end resort). The scent fills space beautifully without punching you in the face; it makes its way through multiple rooms & stays consistent flawlessly. Like the Manhattan Beach oils (big fan here), the oil itself is clear with zero residue or weird buildup in my diffuser. The throw is impressive - one diffuser easily carries through a large area without losing its steam (no pun intended). I always really appreciate the stopper in the lid, which makes pouring controlled and storage worry-free (no leaks, even when it’s been on its side). If you want your space to feel like an effortless summer escape rather than a themed cocktail bar, this oil absolutely nails it.

My wife and I have been enjoying several of the Manhattan Beach oil blends in our home diffuser, and this Key West blend fits right in. The scent is a well-balanced mix that feels clean and relaxed, and it really does give a subtle beach resort vibe when you walk into the room. It is noticeable without being overpowering, which makes it easy to run for longer periods.

Popular Fragrance w/ Similar Notes: Giorgio Armani Ocean di Gioia and Jo Malone Honeysuckle & Davana

NOTE: I have not used the popular fragrance(s) noted. I simply did research to see which fragrances were close to this product, and see what reviewers said about said fragrances, before I ordered.

When it comes to this particular scent, I wasn't able to find a specific fragrance that shared the same scent notes as Key West. In my personal opinion, this smells like a luxury resort’s version of Bounce Fabric Softener. And that is not a bad thing by any means.

The scent invokes a temperate, clear-blue-sky day indoors, with a ground-floor view of the beach and the ocean. The indoor space you’re in is clean, tidy, and organized.

This is the kind of scent that you let permeate the air when the carpets have been vacuumed, the dishes are clean, laundry’s done, and it’s time to relax.

For Americans, I would argue that Key West is a high-quality recreation of a combination of scents, that pushes our imagination towards a nostalgic version of how luxury, cleanliness and relaxation is supposed to smell, and then feel.

If that description appeals to you, this is the scent for you.
